  • Great Whistler Vacation

This is just a quick e-mail to again, truly thank you for your kind act of courtesy you bestowed upon us a couple of weeks ago when I approached you and inquired if there was any inexpensive lodging in Whistler. What you did for my wife and I just makes us want to “pass the torch” and extend an act of kindness to someone else like you did for us. Even though we were cut short on time on our visit to B.C., our trip will be memorable and we want to return to Whistler at a future time but when it is not snowing or raining. I love to take pictures with my camera and I have attached several which you may enjoy. Please feel free to use them in any way you care to.

At some point in the future, we want to travel the Trans Canadian Hwy. from Vancouver all the way over to the East Coast and then down into the U.S. along the east coast to the South and then across the Southern states back to California. My wife and I feel that when we travel, we meet so many kind and interesting people such as yourself that it just makes our trip. Should you and your wife ever come down to California, please consider the thought of us getting together for a few days and we would love to show you around the area. Thank you again.

  • Whistler Cascade Lodge Hotel Vacation

We stayed for two nights in a great 1 bedroom unit. We really liked the spacious layout, with a large sofa (also a pull out bed). Great kitchen, which suprised me. All the mod cons with dishwasher, washer/dryer in unit, flat screen TV and DVD player. You also get a free DVD each night with ResortQuest. The location is great in summer, you are close to the village and our room had some of the best views of both mountains - breath taking! I think this hotel has the biggest pool in Whistler - it's fantastic! The front desk is 24hours so we had peace of mind. They were all very helpful and suggested activities, restaurants and always offered help. Great job! Will definitely go back!
  • Great Ski Lodge

We stayed here over Christmas, and really enjoyed the lodge. We had a studio with washer, dryer, and small kitchen, so enjoyed breakfast without crowds. It's only about 5 minutes to the lifts, and the hot tub was welcome after a day of skiing. The staff was great, really helpful, and the room was really clean and updated. The location was great, just a short walk to the village also. I'd stay here again.
  • Nicest on-slope spot in Whistler

Think about it. You don't want to get on a bus or carry your skis through town. You want the kids to have easy access to ski camp. You want to relax at the Fairmont apres-ski. You want to cook your own food. You want to have a lovely, ten-minute, evening walk over a covered bridge into the center of Whistler. The Aspens as it all. We have stayed here six times and loved it every single time (especially when there's fresh snow). The front desk is spartan, but the services available are great: coffee cart, free phone calls anywhere, ski shop, ski check-in. It's the easiest place to be at Whistler-Blackcomb!
  • Great Accommodations on Blackcomb

Not long back from a brilliant stay at The Aspens. The location is second to none. It sits almost on the slope and can be cruised back to every day down any of the blue runs to Blackcomb base. Perfectly placed to start an evening with a wander/sledge down to Merlin's for a couple of jugs of Kokanee before heading into Whistler (which is a 5 minute walk through the trees - no problem). Great accommodation, 2 bedroom apartment was roomy enough for 6 guys with a sofabed in the lounge. Kitchen was fine - who needs it with the flawless restaurants in WB anyway...!? Gas fire in the lounge made for a relaxing apartment. Clean bathrooms, with 2 showers and a bath. Superb hot tubs (again practically on the slope!). Guys on the desk were unhelpful as they worked for Resortquest and we booked through a UK travel agent (Inghams), but then who cares......we didn't need their assistance really anyway. Great value for money too. Can't speak highly enough of The Aspens - just book it!
  • Really Nice Accommodation in Whistler

The accommodation was booked for us so we were not sure what to expect. The room was really nice with ample accommodation for two. The pull down bed was a surprise at first, but there was plenty of space when it was down. Artificial log fire was a nice touch for the winter. No air conditioning but the fan supplied was enough in July.
  • Excellent Family Ski Holiday

Good place to stay, much bigger than European accommodation. 2 bedroom lodge, 2 big double rooms, and a sofa bed in the sitting room. Good level of equipment- DVD flat screen TV surround sound, full kitchen area. Hot tub and pool were fantastic esp. in the snow. 200 yds to the bottom of Blackcomb mountain. 10 min walk to the village centre or 1 min free bus ride for the lazy. Quiet part of town. Free hot chocolate at the Fairmont hotel next door at the end of the day. Free DVD rental -lots of titles. NB I like free things. Unfortunately Brit airways lost bags for 10 days out of a 2 wk holiday.
  • Great Location Right by the Mountain Lifts

We stayed at Glacier Lodge Boutique hotel at Blackcomb for 3 nights over Christmas eve. We had a two bedroom unit with a full kitchen and 1.5 baths on the ground floor. There were four adults in total sharing the unit. The unit had been recently refurbished, and was decently clean and comfortable. It's a no-frills kind of a place, and is most suitable for a small family. There is one master bedroom with a queen/king bed and the second bedroom has two double beds. The unit steps out directly to the hot tub area outside but we did not use the hot tub facilities. There are previously reviews that the place was noisy and was full of partying students, but we did not find it was noisy at all. We found mostly families staying at the lodge but perhaps it was around the time of the holidays. The location of Glacier Lodge Boutique hotel is very convenient with the lifts right outside and an abundance of shops and restaurants close by. To get to the main Whistler village, it is a short 5-7 minute walk through the bridge path. I would recommend staying here if you are seeking good value, a convenient location without the hustle and noise of staying at the heart of the village, and you are looking for a no-fuss kind of a place. it's not luxurious but adequately comfortable. I've stayed at 6 other properties within Whistler previously and i wouldn't hesitant to go back to Glacier Lodge Boutique hotel.
  • Great Value for Money

I think we were lucky to get one of the best rooms as we had a separate bedroom, balcony with a fantastic view & jetted tub but didn´t pay extra for this. It was excellent value for money, the room was small but clean, fairly recently refurbished & had a kitchenette complete with dishwasher, microwave, fridge & cooker with oven. Facilities included a gym & outdoor heated swimming pool, coin operated laundry room, underground car park, & free ski storage area. The lodge was located near all the best restaurants / take aways, & was just two minutes walk from a large supermarket & the shuttle bus to the slopes. It was also within walking distance of Whistler village, although probably not recommended if carrying all your ski gear. The only negatives were noise from the lift (although we soon got used to it) & that the check in was at a separate location the other side of town. House keeping is not included, you have to pay extra if you want this service. We had a great holiday - I definitely recommend this accommodation, it was much better than expected for the money we paid.
  • Wonderful Family Reunion In Whistler Resort

We had a wonderful time! The family reunion was a success and everyone seemed to enjoy themselves—and the weather cooperated!! I sincerely appreciate the assistance you provided in facilitating our reservations at The Aspens On Blackcomb along with organizing the meeting room. We were very pleased with the service. Many thanks, once again, for everything you did to ensure that our time together as a family was special.
  • Enjoyable ResortQuest Cascade Lodge Experience

I wanted to personally tell you what a wonderful experience I had staying at the Cascade Lodge in Whistler village this last weekend. It was great to speak personally with yourself, the owner of all ResortQuest accommodations. That sort of attention is rarely found these days, and as someone who works in customer service I can tell you that really means a lot. Our party made sure to respect your hotel and its guests, and we will make sure to take the same care next year. Again, thank you very much for a wonderful experience, and I hope to see you next year!
  • Wonderful time at The Aspens On Blackcomb

We had a wonderful time at The Aspens On Blackcomb. The staff were fantastically helpful and the services , room cleaners , maintenance and valet service exemplary. My daughter incurred a serious knee injury at Whistler requiring surgery at Vancouver but the service we received was wonderful from the Aspens staff .They were only ever helpful and courteous and we all look forward to staying there again. Thank you so much Many thanks Jo
