Cole "Sensei" Manson has 29 years experience as a Martial Artist and holds 5 black belts in a variety of martial arts including, Karate. He is the founder of Kishindo Martial Arts established in 2002. Kishindo is a Discipline and Respect driven martial art, drawing from Sensei's study of martial arts for over 29 years. Cole Sensei has offered Martial Arts classes out of 18+ Sea to Sky Corridor locations. It was time to find a Home Base … where he can really focus on teaching and develop the KISHINDO system … and less time on traveling/moving between studios.
Magdalena Regdos RMT has 11 years experience as a Health Professional in the Whistler Community. She studied Kinesiology at Dalhousie University, where she was also a member of the Dalhousie Women's Soccer team. She is a certified level 1 soccer coach, a CASI snowboard instructor and graduated with an award for Outstanding Academic Achievement from Northumberland College, in 2001 … where she earned her Honors Diploma in Massage Therapy.
Magdalena has received the "Best of Whistler" award 2010, 2011 for her RMT practice. She has worked in a variety of settings offering RMT services and finds her strength as community leader will benefit her vision of creating a solid team of Health Professionals at AAA. Magdalena is a member of the College of Massage Therapists of BC, and follows the Standards of Practice defined by the College.
Magda and Cole have worked together as Capoeira Ache Brasil Instructors / Event Coordinators in the past 7 years. They have created a strong understanding of teamwork and endeavor to maintain a sustainable and balanced curriculum at AAA. Together, they have hosted "Capoeira Ache Brasil Street Entertainment" Events they have also teamed up for the "everywoman in the world " conference … where they delivered professional, efficient and fun capoeira workshops and demonstrations. Working on several short film projects (JOGO, Live to Play) has also helped create their working relationship into one founded on patience, respect and understanding.
