One of the best annual fundraiser events for the WAG animal shelter is the WAG Doggy Wash. The 2012 event was held in Whistler village and was a success with sunshine and lots of families attending the fundraiser. Many dogs of different kinds enjoyed grooming and then a refreshing wash. There was also BBQ food prepared by the local Fire Hall. Visitors to the fundraiser event made a charitable donation to have their dogs groomed / washed and also enjoy some BBQ style food. The 2012 event was blessed with warm Summer weather and sunshine all day. The photo below is a dog at the 2012 event that was previously adopted from the WAG animal shelter.
