During the Summer of 2012 the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra played a free outdoor concert in Whistler village. It was a relaxed performance with natural acoustic sounds in the pedestrian only village. The great lawn was the seating area for many locals and visitors to the resort who enjoyed the free outdoor concert. This was a family friendly event on a warm Summer evening that also featured guest musicians.
