What's New on The Mountains
The Symphony Express is a new high speed quad chair that opened up 1000 acres of intermediate and advanced terrain in December 2006. Experience wide open bowls with fabulous views of Blackcomb Mountain and Garibaldi Provincial Park.

A December 2008 Grand Opening is planned for the new Peak to Peak Gondola. Supported by four towers, the gondola will travel 4.4 kms (2.73 miles) in just eleven minutes reaching a vertical point of 415 m (1362 feet) above Fitzsimmons Creek. The Peak to Peak Gondola will break the world record for longest free span with a distance of 3.024 kms (1.88 miles) between the two towers that are furthest apart.
